A Rich History

Dating Back to the Early 1900s

Operating for over a century, Redwing Mine has been part of Zimbabwe’s gold mining heritage, with notable periods under Lonrho Zimbabwe and Metallon Gold. Namib Minerals acquired the mine in 2025, embedding modern ESG practices and operational discipline to prepare it for sustainable, long-term production

Upcoming Advancements

Dewatering activities officially commenced in January 2026 and are expected to be completed by late 2026. A definitive feasibility study will be based on actual underground access, condition assessments, and engineering work before the mine development and build-out phase required to support long-term production.
