ESG

Commitment to Mining Communities & ESG Excellence

Namib believes that value creation starts with trust. We approach mining as a long-term socio-economic partnership rather than a short-term extraction model. We build sustainable value by integrating responsible environmental practices, strong governance aligned with Nasdaq standards, and meaningful community impact into our operations. Our ISO-certified management systems, water recycling and reuse programs, transparent stakeholder engagement, and community investments ensure growth benefits both shareholders and host communities.

Safety as a Core Operational Pillar

Safety is embedded in our culture and operations. In the first half of 2025, we achieved zero fatalities, surpassed 1 million fatality-free shifts, and maintained an LTIFR of 0.69. These results are supported by ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 certifications, reflecting disciplined controls and a strong safety culture.

Our Safety Commitment

My Safety. My Life. Zero Harm is Possible.

We have built a safety-first culture across every level of our organization, ensuring the well-being of our people and communities. This commitment is reflected through:

  • Continuous safety training aligned with global best practices.
  • Robust SHEQ programs (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality).
  • Empowering employees to take ownership of safety.
  • Recognition as Provincial Winner at the NSSA 61st National Safety and Health at Work SHAW Awards in 2024.
